How to get ball off end of surface barbell?
One of my new surface barbells I ordered has ends that for some reason won't unscrew. I've tried really hard, with just my hands and even little pliers, but they slip off and the ends just don't unscrew!!
Any advice on how to get one of the balls off at least, so I can use my barbell?

im not changing anything, i have a surface barbell i need to get the end off of. and yea i go to where i get piercings ALL the time but forget to ask when i get there haha. i will next time but was wondering if there were any tricks to loosen the ends?

Try screwing them off while wearing latex or polyurethane gloves. It helps get a better grip.

Go to your piercer.
Why are you changing it in the first place? Surface piercings can get irritated so easily...if you want a new look, just put different gems on your existing barbell. Plus, those things are really tricky to get in and out yourself...
Your piercer can tell you if it's even worth it to change the jewelry and if it is, properly sterilize it and change it a lot easier than you can by yourself.
