What is an interesting fact about the human brain?

We only use a small amount of it.

It grows until you reach between 21-25 years old. It cannot retain everything but you can keep cells from dying off too quickly by doing puzzles, word games, reading and learning something new everyday.

The human brain is smarter than any animal on earth.

You can also live with half a brain and I mean that literally!

In my opinion , the Human Brain though is endowed with capacity to feel the emotions , record memories and recollect when needed, and is the SEAT that FEELS the pain whenever the body is injured ,IT THE BRAIN IS UNABLE TO FEEL THE PAIN WHEN THE BRAIN IS OPERATED ON,CUT DEEP INTO.It is really interesting.

The brain can stay alive for 4 to 6 minutes without oxygen. After that cells begin die.
