Carbon cap and trade policy?

I have spoken to many pull-string doll Democrats that are for it as it will help everyone be mindful of what they consume and pollute. I realize that it sounds great on paper to environmentalists who still text message all day, live in apartments, use their laptops and I-pods and watch allot of VH1 but an unintended consequence is that Main Street will shut down and only a small handful of large corporations will be the only ones standing. Your doctor and dentist will use their license through Wal*mart. Cap and Trade will be the biggest con job ever and the reason that it is taking so long to pass is that those in congress know it and just haven't been paid off enough yet to bankrupt the country and screw absolutely everyone over.

Climate changes naturally, as the result of massive volcanism for example, but our voluminous greenhouse gas emissions are slowly but surely mimicking that which can occur through such volcanism.

Whether or not climate can change ONLY as a result of humanity really has nothing to do with the actual issue at hand, we know that what we pump into the atmosphere can cause heating when presented in the quantities we produce and we are observing said heating right now.

Do you want the motivation to change to come from high gas prices because either way we have to have change eventually. The time to change has passed we are already going down the slippery slope do you want the people making the money to pay ore do you want to pay at the pump.
