hey, i am buying a used ps3 today, how can i change the log-on name for online?
i am buying used, so my buddy's sign on is already there. I don't want to format because he has a couple games downloaded on it that i'd like to keep.

go to the "users" tab on the cross media bar, and make another account. Log into that account, and you can make another PSN ID. it will give u an option to delete the other one as well

change? If your getting one today you'd wanna be creating one new. It's step by step and will walk you through.
If it has anything on it at the moment i'd just format it (Settings, System settings )
