How do I Connect my Macbook to my TV?
I am wondering how to connect my Macbook to my television. I purchased the computer in September of 2007 and it is a Macbook 2,1 (2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) running Mac OS X 10.4.11. I am not very hardware savvy and am kind of at a loss at to what connector and cords I will require. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, I also own the same model Macbook as you.
In order to connect your Macbook to a TV, you need to buy an adapter from Apple.
If you have an HDTV that has an HDMI port, you need to buy the miniDVI-to-DVI adapter from Apple: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9321G/B?fnode=M... , and a DVI-to-HDMI cable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
If you have an old low-definition boob-tube TV, then you need the miniDVI-to-AV adapter from Apple: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9319G/A?fnode=M... Beware the image is going to look like crap though, because old boob-tube TVs are not intended for use with computers.
Hope this helps.
