diverging lens focal length = 6.8cm image distance if object distance = 6.2cm?

Consider a diverging lens of focal length 6.8

cm.

e) Find the image distance if the object

distance is 6.2 cm. Answer in units of cm.

    1/do + 1/di = 1/f

    f=focal length

    do = object distance

    di = object image

    so you should do

    1/di = 1/6.8 - 1/6.2

    then flip it and get your answer
