Ohio Temporary Permit?

Please help!!! Ok, I have had my temps for about a year now. They expire May 21st. I have finished my driving classes and i just finished my first in-car out of 4. The problem is that I'm scheduling my driving test today and it takes about 3-5 weeks until i take it. That means i will have my final drivers test after my temps expire! What will happen? I really don't want to have to retake all the temps stuff, please help!!!

Sorry, but you'll have to purchase another temp packet and take the vision and written tests again. You have to have a valid temporary permit to take the road test. Good news is that you won't have to wait the 6 month waiting period again. Just hold on to the old permit to show you've waited the 6 months.

Just an FYI, the way to get a permit has changed since last year. Take your permit ID card and Social Security card to the driver's exam station first. They will check the ID and SS card, then give you the written and vision tests, then you head to the license bureau to get the permit.
