what is the best accuse if your late to class?

"I tripped, and everything fell on the floor. Had to pick everything up..."

"My lock got jammed. Took me several of tries to unlock it."

"I have a stomach ache. Had to go to the washroom, and get some Tylenol."

"I had to help a teacher with putting up some stuff."

If you're new: "I got lost... I'm new."

Basically, those are probably the excuses that can be used without your teacher getting extremely angry at you. The locker one, though, is usually more useful if you're in high school. Depends if your locker is near the classroom that you're late for, or not. If it is close, I would not use that excuse.

well excuse: so i was coming to school when this freakin cow out of nowhere hits the side of my car... so i gave it cpr cuz it looked dead and i had to file a police report...
