Could this be???????????????????????????????????
Could Josh Freeman be another Ben Rothlisberger? Both Big ( Freeman 6'6 250 Big Ben 6'5 240) Both love to sit in the pocket and throw but have the abuility to run and take hits and not really be affected by them. Also Both great play makers. Ben has done great in both College and the NFL and now Freeman after great college at K. state gets his oppertunity to play in the NFL. Could the bucs have gotten them a big offensive weapon and possibly a Big Ben type player? What are you thoughts of Freeman and how he will pan out for the bucs? Please no dumb answers please just give honest answers.. thanks...
loosing record isn't determined by one player tho. 1 player can still play great and if he doesn't have help from the defence still lose games or doesn't have help around him.

If you want an honest answer...Josh Freeman will be a massive bust. Just because a draft pick has similar characteristics to another player, doesn't mean he'll be like that. Curtis Painter is the same size as Manning (6"5, 230 lbs), while Painter is 6"4, 230. Both have quick releases and pass with accuracy, but that doesn't mean Painter will become Peyton. There are things more important than raw talent such as maturity and work ethic. And also you said Freeman did great at K. State. I believe he had a losing record, not what I'd call great. Freeman will take a long time to develop, and will not live up to expectations. Personally I think Josh Johnson(from San Diego State), the QB Gruden drafted in the 6th round last year, has a lot more upside.
Edit: Yeah, I totallyt agree that a record is not determined by a player and you can have a great player on a bad team. But Freeman goes through his reads and progressions too slowly. I kinda think of him as a slightly poorer JaMarcus Russell. The guy's got all the physical tools(ok, not all the physical tools, but most of the physical tools), but the mental side is not there right now.

I'm a Kansas State fan and I'm really surprised that Freeman was drafted in the 1st round. He's got tons of talent and athleticism but he is really raw. It's going to take a lot of work to get him NFL ready. He has real trouble reading coverages and completely fell apart against even mediocre college defenses. It's going to take him more than his rookie season to get caught up with the speed of the NFL and I don't see him being able to handle anything but a very simple offense this season.
However, he has great talent and natural ability. If the Bucs can find a QB coach that can teach him well and build the proper offensive system around him then he has a chance to become a very good NFL QB. It's not going to come fast or easy for him, though.

If you compare the two coming out of college Ben is way more accurate! But a good QB coach could fix some of that for Freeman!

Freeman looks to be a great prospect and does share some similarities with big ben, I think he will be pretty good but only time will tell if i'm right

Well, Honestly, I wouldn't want a "Big Ben" type of player. I really don't like Rothlisburger, because he just has great WR's. Now, Kurt Warner is someone who is something that you were describing, can take hits and makes great play makers. (In the words of you)
Ben Rothlisburger just has good WR's, he isn't as talented as a QB as many people think.
