Why did Al Gore lie to congress about his personal finances & global warming profits?

I'm not surprised. What makes it worse, 650 climatologists (scientists not politicians) say that global warming is the biggest hoax ever.

Okay, so assuming all this is true - he's a capitalist. Based upon your avatar, I'll assume you're either a Republican or Libertarian so you should support his profiteering. Furthermore, you should argue with anyone who wishes that he would pay more in taxes upon his $35 million.

As for the rest of your allegations, I don't pretend to know Gore's fiances but if you had read the Bloomberg article upon which most of your link is based, you would have found that Gore allegedly donated all his profits from "An Inconvenient Truth" to the Alliance for Climate Protection. He has had several other income sources since 2000, many of which could have been fairly lucrative and the $35 million invested with Capricorn is used to fund the development of environmentally friendly products. The fact is that the money is all invested in environmental endeavors and he's not out buying mansions or a new Bentley.

Yes, Al Gore is lying and the global warming hysteria is one of the biggest hoaxes ever pulled, with huge amounts of money being collected from well-meaning yet gullible people and pocketed by the likes of Al Gore so he can live one of the most carbon dioxide producing lifestyles of anyone on this planet. If Al Gore really believed what he says he would stop jetting around the world for glabal warming conferences and skeeches, he would stay home and appear on video because that would save all that fuel and not produce the rascally CO2 he complains about, that is unless AlGore secretly wants us all dead and thinks he can speed our deaths up by making as much CO2 as he can. If that's his plan it won't work and in a few years Al will be very sad when the whole world figures out that CO2 is not really causing global warming at all. I still remember the 1970s when environazis were screaming that our pollution would cause an ice age and we would all freeze by the year 2000. Then the earth started warming again like in all previous natural cycles and many of these same environazis started screaming that pollution was causing global warming instead and that instead of freezing we will all burn. Last year was cooler than any year in the previous 20 years. The "global warming" peaked in 1998 and now the earth is cooling, once again as a result of natural cycles. In a few years, people like Al Gore will make up new lies and some people will believe them and get scared all over again, allowing people like Gore to scam them out of more money.

Former Vice President Al Gore left the White House over 8 years ago, not 7. He won a million dollar Nobel prize, produced an oscar caliber film, earns money speaking all over the country, and sits on the board of various organizations which all pay him a salary.
