World of Warcraft Question?

I started a free ten day trial account about five days ago, and created my profile and have been using it. Now, a friend of mine has sent me an email talking about recruiting a me as a friend because i will get more bonuses and things. Can I do this since I already started an account? can i use the account I already have or will I have to make a new one? and if I have to start a new account, will the ten day free trial still work? I'm just curious about what I will have to do.

    You will have to start a new account. The major bonuses you get are the 3x experience if he levels one of his low level characters with you. he in turn gets that, plus a free mount once you pay for 2 months of game time
