I have never had an underwire bra trigger the metal detector. You should be fine.

Can they do that?! That might explain why I set it off last time. I got felt up by a security woman, and my family were on the other side, laughing at me. I thought it might have been the eyelets in my shoes. Actually now I think about it, I think I wasn't wearing shoes because they make you take them off.

do you mean at the airport? if so nope it doesnt always ive worn them before and its fine. but this one time a foreign woman got stopped and they had to frisk her and they tried to ask if she had an underwired bra on but she obviously thought they meant to lift up her top and show them so she lifted up her top! funny times lol bless her!

I'm guessing you mean at the airport, most of the time, it's so embarrassing, especially when they frisk you afterwards.
