Payload Throughput of WiFi?

Does anyone know the actual payload throughput, or efficiency, of the various types of WiFi and encryption types. For example, Wireless G has a link rate of 54 Mbps, but that includes encryption, error correction, packet overhead, etc. What's the rate for the actual data (the payload) that you're transmitting?

    Wireless G will have about 20-24mbps throughput without any interference....
