yes the rear preload is raised by tightening the single shock in the middle and the front is done by removing the plugs on the forks and tightening the nut inside each tube of the forks be careful to adjust evenly eward r i own one and have adjusted other ones including my own i also have manuals for these bikes with adjustments for these parts sorry you need to check your facts nice try

    hope this helps

    Mr. Help goofed again.

The forks on the MGX are NOT adjustable and the rear shock- depending on the model of MGX (there were several)- may have a threaded collar that you can adjust to modify the spring rate.

In any case the suspension on that bike is not very effective and adjustments will make almost no difference in performance.

Mr Help...this is a dept store "full suspension" bike shaped object. NO amount of adjustment on it will make little to any difference at all, besides it really isnt adjustable on the fork anyway.OOPS, didnt someone just say that? Sorry!
