Have you ever written a love letter?

This is so embarrassing, but when I was in 8th grade, I started secretly sending letters to girl I had huge crush on. I even signed them MIckey Mouse. When I admitted it was me, she did let me down gently. When I got to high school we actually dated for about two years.

I wrote poem on my feelings to a girl I had a crush on. I wanted her to read it while I was spending Christmas with extended family in 2005.

Although I was little jealous when I heard she was seeing someone else, she wrote back when I returned. I felt saddened when I read it that she was engaged. I did go to her reception, but I still had that feeling although the line was long to see her and her man.

I'm still friends with her parents and siblings, but I do a little small talk with her whenever she's visiting.

As for love letters to any other girl, not really I'd say. Does sending a YouTube video of a loving song count? I did that one time to a girl after the first girl (I think it was Valentine's Day 2006, V-Day, 2007 or a day in random). If I remember correctly, the mother of this girl liked it: "Sunshine on my Shoulders" by John Denver (1943-1997).

IMO, most girls have written love letters to some guy they were dreamy eyed about. Be careful about what you say in them though as it could be quite embarrassing if the other person doesn't feel exactly like you do. I still write love letters to my hubby once in a while. We've been together going on 5 years.

Yes, to my husband. They were followed rather quickly by hate letters after I found out he also had a girlfriend.

After my boyfriend and I got in a fight he wouldn't listen to me. So I wrote a letter telling him how much he meant to me and the arguement was nothing compared our love.

I have once when a boyfriend and I were fighting to explain to him how I felt since I was not expressing it the best in person. I found it alot easier to be able to express my feelings on paper.

I did once in 3rd grade to Leonardo DiCaprio...I'm pretty sure Aaliyah's '4-Page Letter' song was popular then...so, of course, it was 4 pages long.
