Old iPod Touch help please?
I have a first generation iPod Touch and I'm getting really frustrated.
1. About half of my songs stop halfway through.
2. Often, when playing my music/on safari everything freezes and goes back to the home menu.
3. Recently, my iPod won't sync to my computer/iTunes. It says "Cannot sync to iTunes, device has timed out"
Does anyone know what I can do to fix these problems ?

They will give you an old one. They have a big stock of refubished ones in the back of the apple store. Don't say you broke it. Say something happened to NOT make it look like an accident. Don't say anything about it that they might not replace it because they put the information in a log that goes to every apple store genius bar and every apple support person when you tell them your iPod's serial number.

There is most likely a bug in your firmware. It sounds like your system is sending requests to applications telling them to shut down because there is too much going on. Apple designed the iPod Touch/iPhone to be able to quit applications if taking up too much physical memory at one time, slowing your device. Take it to the Apple Store.

If u have warranty go to the Apple store and tell them your problems and they will give you a new one, AND it will be the 2nd generation,Thats what happened 2 me.
Or if you don't want 2 go thru that much trouble Restore it using Itunes and i'm pretty sure everything will work after that

Connect it to iTunes and restore it. You will have to transfer songs and stuff again but this should fix it.
