Are there swine flu cases in your town?
We just found out that five kids are thought to have it in a town an hour away from us. One of them went to Mexico two weeks ago. Its weird though, they are doing more tests on them, because so far they can only confirm that they test positive for a virus that is associated with Swine Flu.
I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana by the way.
See! I really wish they would confirm the cases instead of just freaking us out. There are people out there that will get the regular flu strands.-
thanks Lulu. thats all im thinking about is my kids. We have a 2yr. old 5, and 8. And as much as I stay on them about hygiene, ugh, let's face it, kids are scary gross!

No, but I got back from Mexico on April 10 and now all my contacts seem to think it's all my fault!

They have to confirm Influenza A before testing for swine flu. The Flu A test is a rapid type, the swine flu test takes longer.

Not that I've heard of. We got email from the school district today describing what they would do and what precautions to take. But no cases.
