Dell Studio 1735 problems?
I bought this computer in november of last year. It ran great for about a month. After that, the touch keys quit working, the fingerprint reader stopped working, and the speakers keep pissing me off.
Is anyone else having problems with this computer????
The fingerprint reader no longer reckognizes log on pages. How do I fix this? (I've already reformatted & reinstalled the software)
Whenever I plug headphones into my computer, after i remove the headphones, the speakers do not work.

I might be able to help with the headphones part. Are the headphones USB by any chance? Sometimes, the way windows handles USB audio devices... When you unplug the USB head phones, the normal audio will not work at all until you restart the application.
Edit: arg.. Sorry to hear that. I would get Dell back on the phone again. Let me give you a few tips. The call agents sit on the phone all day, reading a script, that is designed to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. You have to pressure them, lol. Explain your case and tell them you want your defective laptop serviced. They are not allowed to hang up on you, so if they don't cooperate, then ask for their supervisor. "If you want to piss them off, then simply ask "May I speak to someone else?" It's a pain in the neck, but you have to be firm with these people.
