For Microsoft Office Word 2008, click the "Page Layout" tab, then in the third section, there's three smaller tabs. Click the one that says "Watermark." It will bring a box up. Go down to the bottom of the box and there are three buttons. Click "Custom Watermark." Then it will bring up a small window. There are three options. Click the circle for "Picture Watermark," then click select picture. It will open a browse window. Once you have selected your picture, you can adjust the size with the drop down box. Leaving it on the "auto" setting will leave the picture at it's current size, set to the center of the page. Click the drop-down box to change the size. If you click the check box for "Washout," it will dull the colors a bit. un-checking it will leave the colors as they are, which may make the text difficult to read. To change your settings, just follow the first three/four steps and go to the watermark window.

    Good luck!

Office 2008 for Mac isn't compatible for Windows since Mac and Windows are different system. For Windows, Office 2007 is the latest
