I broke my ankle In october had to have sugery on Halloween.?
Now We are going into May my foot is still swollen and pain full. The Swelling is up and down. I am overweight so I believe this could be a factor. I am back at work which Im on my feet pretty much. My Doc said this is normal and everything looks fine 2 her. My foot and a little above is so sore all the time sometimes I am unable to walk for a few minutes . Ant suggestions or is this normal six months after surgery.????????? Thanks A lot

The first thing I would do is to contact another surgeon, not affiliated in any way to your present doctor, and get a second opinion. To me it sounds as though one of several things has happened. First, she has messed up and is hopping everything will gradually work out. Second, she released you for work way too early.
Another thing you might do is seek out a pain specialist. No one should have to endure pain for any length of time without treatment.pp
