Can I take my puppy on the beach?

My puppy had his first vaccination yesterday. I read a while ago that I can take him on the sandy part of the beach when the tide is out before he has his follow up shot in a fortnight as there is no risk of him catching anything. Is this true?

There is still a risk. Parvo can live on surfaces for years and can only be decimated by bleach (1part bleach, 16 parts hot water). Wait until your puppy is properly vaccinated. Don't risk your puppie's health for a hour on the beach.

1st set at 8 weeks, 2nd set at 10 weeks, it is safe to take your pup out at 12 weeks.

No i would wait till your puppy has had all its shots before you take him just to be safe.

If he was to catch anything and become ill it would cost you money in vet bills and you would feel guilty so its worth waiting till you know your puppy is fully protected. Then you know your being a responsible dog owner and have a healthy happy pup!

I think you should first make sure that ther is no glass on the beach before taking hum out , but I would really wait a few more days till he is really used to u and will come whne called
