Why affix (PBUH) to Saints/Prophets of Middle-East ?

We muslims show outward respect and devotion toProphet Muhammad (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) as well as to all of the Old Testament prophets. To show this outward respect, we Muslim put an acronym after the name of Jesus (jesus) or one of the Old Testament prophets. The most common acronym used is 'pbuh,' meaning, "peace be upon him." It is the English meaning of the Arabic words, Allah's Salaam. There is hardly a religion in all the world that praises these faithful servants of Allah more than Muslim believers.

Brother, Allah himself sent salam (peace) on Prophets and Messengers in Qur'an. So, that is why we muslims do use the same word salam (peace) as used and prescribed by Allah.

We muslims can not ask Prophets to 'Guide Us', 'Bless Us', 'Help Us'.

That amounts to "shirk" asking anyone besides Allah :)

You are asking a simple question in a such a manner indicative of the perennial turmoil within you.The answer is very simple.

It is we Muslims who say ''peace be on you'' when we greet the living and ''Peace be on him''when we mention the dead.We attribute this saying especially to prophets as a mark of respect to the dead and also as a small prayer to Good almighty to show mercy towards the any dead person.

In islam we have been warned of the fire of hell ,after the day of ressurection But the First hell is the Torment in the Grave.Do you think that putting on a suit or a two piece cloth and lying in a teak coffin is where we are resting NO my friend our beloved prophet Muhammad informed us that if only we knew what punishment was waiting us in our graves we would never bury the dead!!!

There is a horrible punishment which we will be subject to in our graves till the day of judgement ,therefore whenever we mention the dead we hope that God almighty show them mercy and give them restful peace.

To calm you down please note that Middle east countries are more calm and peaceful than your western world where Murders,Rapes,Arson,kidnapping,adultry,abortions,robberies etc are taking place in seconds!!!Is it not your western world who have entered Muslim Contries and destroyed their peace!!!!

First -- They are all dead! ( Except Jesus - PBUH )

And according to Islamic Belief Every Soul tastes death even if they are Prophets or Messengers.

And, the soul has three main stages.

1. Birth and Physical Worldly Life.

2. Death and Soul's existence in grave until Judgment day.

3. Judgment day and the Hereafter(Heaven/Hell)

So, As you see all the prophets/messengers who existed they are in Stage"2".

We address them (their souls) to be in Peace with their existence, Practically speaking it is the BASIC SALUTATION to ANYONE in Islam including Kids!!. The salutation is "A'SHALOM'ALAILKUM" meaning "May Peace and God's Blessings be on You" -- So it is not special to Prophets Soul's but also to every person alive!!

Who ever coined these words (PBUH) think of Brother-hood without helping a brother by dwelling angrily in 'Iman' and '*****'. Be merciful like Allah.**//

You are free to choose your addressing style, If you were from Japan -- then BOWING DOWN WOULD BE THE BEST FORM OF RESPECT -- But is it the Right way ?? -- Whatever !!

PBUH is a four letter word. ***** means Sin. 'Iman" and '***** means "I have never seen a fool like you. So we can use **** instead of PBUH, to Saints and Prophet. Please bring some Prophet so that I can call him **** with your name. Please advise me how can I be merciful like Allah. (like Allah - if you have seen and show me. I wont hurt you nor insult him) What are the daily routine of Allah so that I can do the same every day and I want to be an Allah. YOU ARE A LIAR. YOU TALK ABOUT ALLAH WHOM YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN. Some one said to other some one and since long this tell-tale spread like an epidemic disease and you are also affect by this disease, to say and talk about something that you have never seen. This is I say you a fool. and your action is called as 'scandal'. I worship you with the most filthiest salutations world has ever heard, as you spread a baseless scandal and rumours about 'Allah'. You would never be excused in Heaven and even Hell.

When they write PBUH it means Peace Be Upon Him.... They only say it after the name of any prophet for example they would say mohammed PBUH, John PBUH, Jesus PBUH etc.....
