How long will Nadal hold the World No.1 ?

I strongly think that nadal will lose his number one spot within the next two years. Obviously federer isn't coming back to challenge him because he's done for good. Sure he's still a respectable player but he's definately past his prime. However with young studs like Djokovic and my personal favorite, Andy Murray, coming up in the rankings i don't see how nadal will be able to keep them off. Andy Murray is a great player and has improved his game and his overall physical toughness. I think he can go longer into a rally than any player in the world.

I think he should be able to hold the #1 ranking this year. My prediction is that if he is not able to defend his Australian Open title next year, he will most likely lose his ranking.

for the rest of this year he will be no.1, but i really do not know about next year or the years after that.
i dont think he will be no.1 for as long as federer though, nadal's style of play is just too physically demanding on his body, as john mcenroe once said: "nadal is writing cheques that his body cant cash".
