I eat some broken egg pieces, eggshells in Sausage egg muffin at McDonalds Uxbridge, is it Harmful?

The yolk of an egg is not a chick. It's the yolk. Eggs we eat are not fertilised, they dont have roosters there, there are only hens, and hens cannot impregnate each other. Chickens lay eggs whether they are fertilised or not. An egg can only have a chick inside it if the hen mated with a male and the egg got fertilised, like a human being. The eggs we eat are comparable to menstruation or "a period", rather than a chick or "an abortion" like some ignorant people say. That and the "plants have feelings too!" argument. sigh. However most eggs come from battery farms which are very immoral, which is a completely different story... I won't eat eggs at restaurants and stuff like that because it will be caged eggs.

Other than just an unpleasant experience, no need to worry, you'll be fine. If you do get sick it would be from the germs that were on the eggshell from the cooks handling it, but the chances of that are slim to nothing since the egg shells were cooked with the egg. More than likely you won't get sick. I wouldn't worry. Just don't go back there to eat again.

The main ingredient in eggshells is calcium carbonate (the same brittle white stuff that chalk, limestone, cave stalactites, sea shells, coral, and pearls are made of). The shell itself is about 95% CaCO3 (which is also the main ingredient in sea shells). The remaining 5% includes calcium phosphate and magnesium carbonate and soluble and insoluble proteins.

Just like the fellow said, it's a matter of "taste". And..... CaCO3 is the main ingredient in many commercial antacids

u will be ok, my brother when he was 10 years old he ate an egg in a sandwich and eggshells was there after he finished eating he found out,nothing happened except being allergic to eggs,now he is 26yrs old and if he eat eggs he would throw up.

Oh calm down, it'll not harm you. However, it shouldn't have been there. Tell them, you'll get an apology and a free one. And if they know they can do something to prevent it happening again

it won't affect you at all, but you should have kept it rather than binning it, you could have complained and got a free meal.
