has anyone ever been on the Celebrity Mercury?
we are going to Alaska in Sept. I've been looking at this site for awhile and nobody ever mentions Celebrity. Just wondering if the ship is good.
Also are there any tours recommended? We are going to Sitka, Ketchican and Juneau.

I did this cruise in July on the Mercury. The ship is good, couldn't complain about anything, in fact we met someone who was on their 10th cruise on the Mercury. The weather was not too good, rain-proofs and fleeces are definitely needed.
We found a lot of information on Cruise Critic, it's free to sign up and the are boards and roll calls for your cruise. There are a lot of people who have been on Alaskan Cruises and the Mercury. You can get some really good advice and tips.
The tour we most enjoyed was the seaplane flight to the Misty Fjords, We didn't book through the ship but booked online before we left.
