We are a young family of four thinking about buying an economical van for travel and camping this summer. We have no experience of buying vans yet. Which camper van or converted van would you recommend, and why?

You're going to have a problem sleeping 4 in a van or conversion van. You MAY want to consider a tent trailer or small travel trailer that you can pull behind a Tacoma or other small pickup or car.
I DID see a picture once of a large tent kit that you can attach to the SIDE of a van for more space.

a summer shutle is big and you can sleep in it ands it cheap, but it doesn't use alot of gas even though its like a mini van
