Traveling to NYC--suggestions for things to do/see?
I'll be making a trip to NYC to see colleges this summer. My family (my two parents, my two brothers--14, 12, and myself--17) will have four days to see eight schools and the city. So far, we have the Statue of Liberty, the Metropolitan Art Museum, and a Broadway show on our list. Any other suggestions?
We're also very flexible, so that means we're willing to split into groups--grownups go see grownup stuff, the little ones go see kid stuff.
Suggestions???

For issues to do it sounds as though like close by New Yorker took care of the failings you're able to do - yet basically in ny. There ARE different areas of manhattan that are outdoors of ny - greater appropriate places, honestly, like Brooklyn :) using fact which you would be there for the forged summer season months, circulate right down to Brighton sea coast and Coney Island - Coney Island for the appropriate friggin' warm dogs ever at Nathan's, and Brighton sea coast for a chilled sea coast experience ... take the Q to Brighton sea coast (which will additionally take you to Coney Island 2 stops later) or the N, F, D or B to Coney Island and you will walk down the board walk to Brighton sea coast. there is likewise Queens - Howard sea coast is extraordinarily relaxing, inspite of the undeniable fact that it gets crowded interior the summertime now and lower back. As for the journeys to DC from manhattan - Megabus is large inexpensive. that is as inexpensive as $4.00 each and each way from long island to DC. As for stay shows, i'm no longer lots of a stay overall performance goer as i'm a bar hopper, lol, yet there are continually unfastened stay shows or stay bands at rather some places in Greenwich Village. Take the D to the West 4th stop - assured you will run into some thing :) stable success!
