Do you ever just wanna leave everything behind?

Do you ever want to leave everything behind and start over?

Me: I was really hurt today and feel that I can't trust any of my friends anymore. I wanna leave this town and start again somewhere new with new people. I just have too much baggage here... :(

OMG, you sound just like me. yes i am dying to leave this state and move on to a place where i dont know anyone, and find new people, some people tell me that im just running away instead of facing my problems. but they are not in my shoes, i cant deal with more problems anymore. i say go for it if you have the opportunity to start over then do it if that makes you feel better, we only live once. good luck.

Yes, I always say I want to find a cave and be a hermit. We all have horrible days where we get hurt or do something stupid. I have found that the feeling passes and we go on. No matter what you have in your past, you can always start again right where you live now. If you confided too much in your friends and were betrayed, take the lesson and don't spill your guts next time. Learn from this but hold you head up high and tomorrow is a new day. I have been there and I know.

Yeah I am actually doing that in a couple of weeks. I decided it today. Do you mean baggage as in kids? Or as in family and stuff? If i were you try and move somewhere where you have family out of state or friends out of state that you could stay with until you get your feet on the ground. You only live once and there is no point of staying somewhere you aren't happy. Depending on how old you are you could always look into the military thats what I did when I was 18 and I got out about 6 months ago. But I just like living in different places and experiencing new things. So I move a lot. Hope this helps.

I did once when everything got too much. Packed my belongings and moved somewhere new where I thought I could start again. The trouble was the baggage I thought I'd left behind remained with me so although the surroundings were new the problems weren't.

I suppose that's why they say "you can run but you can't hide."

I hope you're feeling better soon hon.

Oh Yes. I really do. But i dont think i ever could. At school i have chosen the wrong friends, and everyone else has like already got their own friends. I wish i could just drop everything, snap my fingers and i would be in a different city, different school and different friends. But its not that easy. You have to consider a lot of things to do this. Just hang in there and everything will fall into place.(:

That sounds like a winner. I wasn't hurt today but I do feel like pulling up the stakes and leaving everything behind. Just me, my car and laptop.

    I have often dreamed

    Of a far-off place

    Where a great warm welcome

    Will be waiting for me

    Where the crowds will cheer

    When they see my face

    And a voice keeps saying

This is where I'm meant to be

    I will find my way

    I can go the distance

    I'll be there someday

    If I can be strong

    I know ev'ry mild

    Will be worth my while

    I would go most anywhere

    to feel like I belong

    I am on my way

    I can go the distance

    I don't care how far

    Somehow I'll be strong

    I know ev'ry mile

    Will be worth my while

    I would go most anywhere

    to find where I belong

    (reprise)

    I will beat the odds

    I can go the distance

    I will face the world

    Fearless, proud and strong

    I will please the gods

    I can go the distance

Till I find my hero's welcome

    Right where I belong

I'd love to. If you look at my most recent question, it deals with a current relationship, plus an ex who hasn't moved on. I have some feelings for both of them, but don't know whose feelings to return. But why must it be one of them? Why can't I leave and love someone new?

Yes, I've even done it a couple of times in my life, and I regretted later, both times. Face the problem, it will usually solve itself. The other people involved aren't having any fun either, usually. If you are talking about a life threatening situation, then that's different.
