Do you know where i can get a good acting agent?

It is according to where you live! I would however give you the following suggestions.

Ask around and find an Agent that has a good reputation in t.v. and movies and also commercials. A good Agent will not cost you an arm and a leg. They will usually sign you up for a very nominal fee and then take a certain percentage of the jobs they get for you.

Get a head shot done. You will not be able to get an Agent if you do not have a good head shot. The same thing applies. Ask around and find someone who is cheap and who has had experience doing this kind of work.

If you phone up any Agent in your area, and ask for a good, cheap photographer, they usually have a list.

There are different kinds of Agents. Some only concentrate on T.V. and others on Commercials or Movies. There are those who deal with all three.

Keep in mind that whether it be photography or Agents, you do not have to pay out a lot of money,. Those who will charge huge amounts are not out for your best interests.

I have done t.v. commercials and a couple of movies so I am suggesting the above from my own experience, and from other actors who have gone through the same thing.

Usually, if they are good Agents, they will not have to advertise in newspapers, or on the net. They just get their business from word of mouth and from within the Entertainment industry itself.

First thing first though. Get yourself some head shots (photos of your head and shoulders with your name printed underneath).
