is this a true story song?
i was just wondering this because i just had listened to it and it sounded so real i wasnt positive though so i thought i would ask.. thanks for the answers :).

it's basically true. haley is his daughter and laney is his niece. he and his wife split up and all that. i'm not positive about the stories though. like the christmas thing, and the jar of haley's college fund. they are probably based off of something that happened but may have been edited for beat and rhyming sake.

never heard the nick jonas problem (had adequate of their songs after listening to burning up and their terrible remake of 'hi see you later'), and that i have loved eminem way beforehand the jonas brothers were even theory-about. for this reason, i'm certainly going with eminem. :)

probably most eminems songs are based on life experiences like his difficult childhood, his dad, his mom, kim, his daughter etc
