How to configura the home web server ? what are the requirements ?

do you have windows xp professinal? if so, good, using the windows xp disk, install IIS (internet information services) from it.

do you have high speed internet service? good, this, will give your guests the chance to see your page. Download DynDNS with this service, you can use your dynamic IP and assign it a domain name so your guest can remember how to find you.

create your webpage and save it in your c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder this will make it available trough your computer to the internet.

if you're using a router, make sure to for forward port 80 to your server

for a web server u jst need the web server application life IIS/ Wamp/tomcat etc according to ur website... and a static ip.
