How do I get Windows Media Player to work on the Apple Safari Browser?

When i go on a webpage that has a windows media player video in it, i get this message, even though i have already installed the safari windows media player plugin from the apple website.

"Windows Media Player is not installed or was not correctly registered as a plug-in.

Please click visit www.microsoft.com to install the latest version of Windows Media Player."

I assume if you have Apple safari you have a Mac....?

If so download Flip4Mac( Free) which will read WMP.

If thats not the case download FireFox...might help.

If not try VLC... that will open almost anything video wise .

Try deleting safari safari and then installing it again.

If it still doesn't work use something like firefox or internet explorer.
