what is done during a perio-consultation?
i have a perio consult today and i wanted to know what they would discuss with me or if there are exams. i have to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled, will they discuss that? thanks alot.

They'll measure your gums, look at x-rays and see where the problems are. They'll check the gum architecture and where things need to improve. The whole point of periodontal work is to remove disease and leave you with a situation that you'll be able to care for easily at home
