What is the "image" of these brands of makeup?
I want to pick the brand of makeup that best suits my self-image. The brands that interest me are Lancome, Estee Lauder, and Clinique. What "kind" of lady wears these brands?

Estee Lauder is very grown-up and classy. Lancome is a bit younger but still good quality, while Clinique is 'young, fresh and healthy'

They all appeal to the young to middle age bracket apart from Clinique which is aimed at a younger 'keep it simple' market. Lancome is French and so probably seems more 'sophisticated' where as Estee Lauder is American and used to be considered for 'older' ladies but has now updated it's products. None of them are considered to be 'hot fahion' houses.

When I think of Lancome and Estee Lauder I think of high end department store.I love Lancome eyeliner and Estee Lauder concealer.To me Clinique is a little cheaper like something teens would use.But why does it matter?No one's gonna know what brand you're wearing.
