I have a question about animal selection for a vivarium/terrarium...?
So, Im building a huge vivarium. I want it to be like a rain forest. I will have a lot of branches, vines, waterfalls and water. It will have enough water for it to have fish. So I dont know what animals to have. I wanted to know what animals can live together, I wanted to have a python, maybe a couple of turtles and some fish. Will the snake wat the rest of the animals? Any suggestion of what animals I can have will be appreciated. Dont worry about the tank, just about the animals. The tank will have fogger, filters, and everything it needs to keep the animals safe.

that sounds like an ideal living space for certain species of lizards. a great choice would be an asian (sometimes called Chinese) water dragon. their body size is about the legnth of your palm and the tail is about another 2-3 inches long. they are fairly easy to take care of, you just have to keep their home very clean and have lots of water (which it sounds like you will), they also love foggers because they require humidity. their diet is easy to handle too, they just eat crickets or meal worms, which you can buy at nearly any pet store. hope this helps :)

There is a huge problem about the animal part. First of all, never put different species of reptiles in one enclosure. This can cause spread of disease, territorial fights, dominance fights, sicknesses, and so much more things that can go absolutely wrong. All reptiles live in different areas of the world in different habitats. Even though some species are of the same area one of them could easily eat and fight each other. There is a great deal of stress involved because of a large enclosure and other species of animals inside of the enclosure. I keep every single one of my reptiles in separate cages, and they are healthy and well.
Snakes are more of an individual reptile, not wanting snakes of the same species or not in their enclosures. Snakes are easily stressed, and can die from so much stress with having different species in the same enclosure. Snakes are only supposed to live in one enclosure with the things they need that suite them. All different species of snakes and reptiles need different requirements, such as cage requirements like heat, humidity, food, substrate, hides, and mostly everything you can think of that has to do with the inside of that enclosure. Snakes cannot live with any other reptile as they will try to eat the other reptile. Also when they are stressed, they will refuse meals and will not eat the mice given each week.
Some lizards enjoy staying with their own kind, not having other species in the enclosure. Lizards are also territorial reptiles, as well as every animal in the world so having only one kind of lizard in one cage would do just fine.
Turtles need their enclosure of mostly water, and a lot of it to be able to swim around and stay in the water but they do need a land area. Turtles are the hardest reptile to look after, and need a lot of cage clean up because they smell and need their tank to be cleaned constantly. They will also eat all of the fish you put in the enclosure.
Tortoises are more of an individual animal, wanting their own space and a lot of it to roam around and graze. Tortoises are more of an outside animal, but in only some places you can keep them outside.
Keeping the enclosure clean will be very hard, since it will be very heavy and filled with many things that will need to be cleaned out. If the cage isn't secure, you will find reptiles roaming around your home. So really, the animals will not be safe at all.
I don't think this is a great idea, and I don't think you've done much research on most reptiles you want in the enclosure. Researching and reading care sheets does you so much good, but having different species in an enclosure is not smart at all. Will you also have the time to handle these animals, and be able to feed them all and care correctly for them? Will you be able to afford everything the animals need? And the animals you listed all have different cage requirements, so this whole tank thing wouldn't work at all.

You recommend like the cat? curiously: as quickly as upon a time, the Jade Emperor theory it could be greater effective to assign an animal to each and each twelve months so people would desire to greater certainly keep in mind the Zodiac cycle. To get to the assembly referred to as by skill of the Jade Emperor, they had to circulate a river to realize the assembly place. The Jade Emperor had additionally decreed that the years on the calendar could be named for each animal as they arrived to the assembly. Cat and rat desperate that the best and quickest thank you to circulate the river became into to hop at the back of ox. Ox, being naïve and robust-natured, agreed to hold them the two throughout. halfway around the river, rat pushed cat into the water. Then as ox neared the different edge of the river, rat jumped forward and reached the shore first. So he claimed first place interior the competition and the zodiac.
