What is the divorce rate for those who've already had a divorce?

If you're divorced and want to re-marry, what is the chance you'll wind up divorced again?

For the record, I'm single and unattached. A friend of mine took a divorce class, and was told that the divorce rate among divorced people was a lot higher than for those in their first marriage. However, he doesn't remember the source.

Does anyone here have a source? Thanx.

Update:

I mean reliable statistics. Thanx.

It may be higher but I still believe in miracles. The good part is if the person is willing to make some major changes in his/her life, then that person has a better chance than those that don't want to change. I know where I made my mistake in my previous marriage. But I know made a major change to correct it.

It's true the divroce rate is higher for 2nd marriages and here is why, the first time around your terrified of divorced, or most are, the second time around you not scared by it and truth to tell, you learned that sometimes it is best to walk away.
