a cry for help, a warped sense of self, low self-esteem, hurting, fragile, emotional, sick, disgusting, fighting, miserable...I could go on.
Funny you should mention eating disorders.

The insecurity, distorted self image and behaviour of sufferers. I also get an image of an emaciated person, who's skin and bone - but that's just a physical result of the illness, the illness is a mental thing not a physical weight.

This girl I used to be really good friends with, Megan, was anorexic and bulimic at some point in our friendship. It really changed her... she used to be so happy, and during it she was always depressed. When this kid Jacob and I finally got her help, she just got so hateful and we've never been close since. It's a shame ):
