There are seven girls in the room and seven apples in a basket. Each girl takes an apple but one apple remains in the basket. How is this possible?

    I KNOW!

    there are 7 apples IN the basket, but there's another apple beside the basket, which is NOT IN the basket. 6 girls took an apple each from the basket but one of the girls took the apple which is NOT IN the basket...so, there's still one apple left IN the basket!
