Why do Conservative Republicans assume that Yahoo! Answers has a liberal agenda?
I've seen numerous mentions about how Yahoo! is always deleting their questions that are critical of Obama or Liberals because Yahoo has a liberal agenda.
I'm a liberal and I've had several of my LIBERAL questions criticizing Republicans deleted. In fact, my last account lasted less than a week because of my questions in the Politics category. But I don't assume that Yahoo has a right-wing, conservative agenda.
Do people not realize that they cannot judge something based only on their own personal experience? If they would care to ask around, I'm sure everyone gets VNs for different reasons.
Why do people assume something based on limited information?

When you have no actual arguments, calling others rude or developing a persecution complex is the only stance left. Otherwise, you have to actually think, and that's not going to happen.

I think that people (liberals and conservatives) get upset when they feel that their Q&A's are reported and they want to lash out. For the most part, I don't think that YA is biased either way. However, "some" of those working for YA are. I've had answers reported that I've appealed. On the first try it was denied. On the second try, it was accepted. Still, overall I don't think that YA is biased.
I WILL say that I think that Yahoo news is biased towards liberals. I read their news and think that it is definitely one-sided. It doesn't bother me much though because I like reading different views to get a balance.

Look at your answers. The internet is an anonymous place, and people can say whatever they want from behind their computers without repercussions. Some of the people are legit, some are just jokers trying to cure a case of boredom. This site may be the worst representation of politics in this country and how people truly handle them around the world. This is nothing more than a forum for children to act that way and be controversial without anyone calling them out on it.

Cause anyone that disagrees with them has a liberal agenda and must be silenced or eliminated.
Debate and civil discourse is not an option for them as many of their views are clearly not within the bounds of reason or reality.
So when reason and reality rears it ugly head, they claim the forum has a liberal bias and then quit and go pout in their bunkers.

because the criteria for upholding liberal questions borders on ridiculous...ive had...can we welcome sarah palin into the race deleted. recently ive had do these polling numbers reflect the "change" liberals voted for deleted and when you ask for a SPECIFIC definition of what the action was taken for, you get a form letter and objection brings another form letter.
no one knows for sure what the sense of bias is, but when you run into consistent trolling that makes no apparent sense, as far as im concerned, the liberal media bias seems a safe assumption.

Mine too, and I know that it's the 'Neo-Con's having them deleted! You know how I can tell? Because they are questions that might be about Limbaugh, or Palin, or some other Repub. That's how I know! And they are not 'violating' any 'Guidelines' either. It's just that some people here think that they rule this site, and don't want certain legitimate questions posted here. But that's alright. I DO appeal every one that was deleted, and Y!A has restored them. So take THAT 'Neo-Cons' HA HA HA lol !

They have a penchant for conspiracy theories. It's a gene on a chromosome right next to the gene for NASCAR fondness. The truth is that nearly any question or answer posted here can be found to violate "community standards" based on the vague standards.

The conservatives think everyone has a liberal agenda, including the media, which is false. If that's true, then how do conservatives manage to get elected to political office?
There is no agenda, just a perception problem. If there are 10 principles that conservatives believe in and I agree with only 9 of them, I'm automatically a liberal.

And you can't judge the situation until you read about it. This anti-Obama scrubbing is not new.
