What's the most thumbs-downs you've ever received for an answer?

I think I got about 10 thumbs down for that one... only makes me laugh tho

Without any counteracting thumbs up - I think it's 5 on 2 occasions. Edit they were for (1) Telling an animal lover who had rescued a pigeon (it's feathers had come out) it might be OK but if it wasn't a passing fox might get an easy meal - hey an animal lover doesn't want a fox to starve!

(2) Telling someone that complained about an abusive answer that they were joking.

I've gotten quite a few every now and again. But then again... I hang out in Religion & Spirituality. So, my highest thumbs down has probably been 7-10 or more.

But then again, I usually get loads of thumbs up :). I've gotten over 25 thumbs up before.

People do a lot of thumbing in R&S!

uhmmmmmmmm.... i do no longer supply lots care in YAM using fact in here ,human beings get thumbs down no longer using fact their solutions are ridiculously stupid, this is as a results of the fact somebody hates them...i do no longer wanna pinpoint yet once you observes heavily u'll capture my flow. did no longer merely supply thumbs down, he created clones and suggested different's solutions/questions aswell as for different sections ..i've got been given like 8 thumbs down using fact i suggested the only thank you to get your homestead to be bless is to be stable acquaintances with your neighbour (and that i've got been given the excellent answer for that hahah)

10 Thumbs down for saying in my answer to discipline a cat by giving it a gentle tap on the nose with a finger and a firm no.

Anyone would think I suggested beating the cat to death! Geez!

I don't know how to find out but I think it was around 5 for saying something vaguely ambiguous about religion. If you try and face a question on that looking at both sides it seems neither side will approve :(

Hm,,,, I guess about religious issues, but for the same questions I had received also most of my thumbs UP, so... :D Or may be some sort of sarcstic answer for Obama :D
