I have the opportunity to get a job being a cook in a bar/lounge kitchen. I have no experience should I do it?

I have only cooked for friends, family, parties, and I get a lot of compliments about my cooking all the time.

I say you should go for it! I have always dreamed of cooking on a professional level but life has guided me down a different path, at least for now. Take the chance and see what happens:)

  • Yea, go for it. But you must realize that cooking at a professional level is nothing like cooking for your friends at home. A bar lounge kitchen would be an easier place to start vs a fine dinning restaraunt kitchen. But if you really like to cook, and think you will enjoy the job go for it.
