How do you answer "if you are the manager, how will you drive the sales up" in a job promotion interview?

im trying to apply for a promotion (sales operations manager/ i will handle supervisors and we have clients from various company )

    never tell stafff to do something you ask them and never. ask them to do something you can,t and never be afraid to get your hands dirty ,also do not lead from the front, you need to lead from the rear . just like sailing a boat so you can see where people are going wrong !!!

    You really don't want to too far into the extremes. Those being A) Fire them on the spot or B) Brush it off The best answer for this situation with limited context is to go in the middle of A and B. You want to approach this worker and determine the reason for not doing the job. Explain to them the circumstances of their job and be not too stern and not too soft. You could say "I would ask the worker why they aren't doing their job and tell them ways that they can improve" If the worker doesn't improve for whatever reason, you should fire and find a replacement. That's how I would do it. Good Luck.

    If you're asking us, then maybe you shouldn't get the promotion. Do you not know how you're gong to increase sales?
