95 Saturn stuck in third gear?
I was driving my stick shift 95 saturn when all of a sudden the shifter became loose and I am stuck on third gear. I move the shifter around in circles and can't feel any of the gears. I can't go in reverse or switch the gears. I heard it might be the "fly wheel"? I have no idea as I have no automotive skills of any kind other than putting gas. Does anyone know about how much something like this would cost to fix?

It sounds like the shifter cable has broken. I'd guess it's about a 2-3 hour job, and have no idea about the cost of the part. But around here, you're probably looking at around $200-300 at a "mainstream" automotive repair shop.

I am NOT a mechanic but my guess is that it is the connector between the actual "Stick" you move around to select the gears and the transmission itself. You could fix it yourself if you are handy or get it done somewhere. Don't take it to the Saturn dealer because they will charge you an arm and a leg to do it! The part must (most likely) come from the dealer though.
You didn't state how much mileage is on the car so I am guessing a lot!
Hope that helps.

It's definitely not the flywheel. You need a new shift kit. It works like this. The stick shift goes down to a ball (inside the top of the transmission) that has a push rod attached to it. The push rod when pushed or pulled shifts it to the corresponding gear.

throwout bearing, not much, depends on car.
