What is the name of the song on the commercial for "My Own Worst Enemy"?
What is the name of the song for the trailer for the upcoming NBC series "My Own Worst Enemy" starring Christian Slater?
I'd heard it before, maybe from the early to mid '90s, I'm thinking. It sounds a bit techno, maybe in the same genre as The Chemical Brothers or something. The chorus says something that sounds like, "aaaAAAaaa" ...sorry I can't be more specific. I guess you would have had to have seen the commercial and already known the song to be able to answer this one. Thanks for your help!
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoDoes anyone care to take a bet on what "substance" was in Michael Waltrip's Toyota's intake manifold?
His Toyota Camry was impounded over the weekend when a NASCAR official noticed an "unusual substance" inside the intake manifold that was not believed to be oil. Waltrip swears if it's anything, it's motor oil.
Any ideas on what it could be? Maybe a congealed nitromethane or something like that?
10 AnswersNASCAR1 decade agoSong/lyrics to trance/alternative/emo song?
I'm trying to figure out a song that sounds kind of like a Cure song (and may even be by them or Robert Smith.) There's a line in it that says, "so what do you say?" (background vocal repeats it as an echo.) Then, shortly after that, he says something like, "song (or sound) on the radio."
Please don't suggest one of the lyrics sites; I typed in these phrases and thus far only came up with Erasure and Vellum. It's not either of those. The vocalist definitly sounds British. The song is a bit gloomy but the tempo is kind of in the middle.
2 AnswersMusic1 decade agoHow do I raise concrete steps?
I have some concrete steps (a one-piece slab with about 8 steps) that have sunken about six inches at the top of the steps where it meets my porch. I was thinking of digging a hole under the steps near the second-from-the-top step to allow room for an automotive-type 3-ton floor jack. If I raise this slab, how can I support it? Stack flat concrete paver-type stones? Or is there an alternative method? The concrete is in great shape; it's just sagged from settling earth.

I am fairly mechanically inclined, but this has me a little bit stumped. I know how to get the old net out/new net into the corkscrew-looking tabs on the front part of the rim, but the backside of the rim only has holes. Do I have to untie the knot in the net's string there and thread it through the hole? The new net is already knotted there and is not loose. Is there an easier way than untying all of those knots, threading them through the holes and then retying them?
