Can Gameboy Advance games work in a Nintendo DS?

Reason why I ask is coz there are two slots in the DS:

one for DS games and a wider slot for something else and am just wondering if GBA games will work in the DS?

any help would be much appreciated =D

    You certainly can, the bigger slot is for GBA games. This won't work with traditional GB or GB Colour games though, which is a shame.

    There's also a slot that allows you to hook your DS up to a Nintendo Wii, if you have one, for added interactivity. Games series like Pokemon are really taking advantage of this feature.
