Which is why the league needs to legitimize itself and hand down a suspension. They turned a blind eye to his 1-2 MMA style combo to the head of Battier in game 1. If they don't suspend him they're making a mockery of their attempt to enforce the rules.

1st- Kobe threw an elbow above the shoulders, a precise violation of the same league rule that Dwight Howard broke = suspension. But that's only if the league is just.

2nd- If you watch what you're referring to as the "slash the throat" gesture you'll realize he was simulating the elbow Kobe threw. If you read his lips you can tell hes saying he threw an elbow not anything about slitting Kobe's throat.

By the way, everybody: report this "DESTINY" cat for spamming. Its getting freakin annoying.

Ejection?! At best, it might be a flagrant 1 but no call for an ejection. Nowhere near as hard as Howard's.

why would anybody get ejected for throwing a elbow it's not that serious artest deserved it why would you go run to the other players face like that so get over it and stop making excuses.

That elbow isn't worth an ejection. Artest wouldn't have been ejected if he hadn't done that slash-the-throat gesture.

    edit/response:

...I said "that" elbow. Howard's might as well have been a punch. Kobe's was just a regular foul. duh..
