Used car brand label missing?

I bought a used car from dealer and after everything was done. I noticed that on trunk the brand name and the car type name was missing. I am not sure why. My car is Hyundai Sonata. It has the Hyundai symbol and also it says v6 on trunk but does not say "Hyundai" and "Sonata". Anybody has any answers for this. Car Fax is good. Thank you!

Know this may be hard to believe but sometimes manufacturers err and let cars get out of the plant without these being put on. Case in point...gal I dated years ago had a Camaro. On one side of the car it had the Camaro emblem. On the other side where the Camaro emblem should have been was one for a Firebird.

You should though be able to purchase these from any Hyundai dealer and put them on yourself.

The previous owner may have removed them to 'clean up' the trunk lid as it is not difficult. All it takes is a heat gun (hair dryer works fine, too) and some dental floss. The heat loosens the adhesive and the floss strips most of it off without scratching the paint.

If it really bothers you just go buy new emblems from hyndai (from the dealership might be costy) but if you go on ebay, its pretty cheap.

IMO all de-badged and leaving the symbol is the way to go (personal preference). My accord is debadged but with a Honda emblem, I wonder if anyone mistakens it for a civic Haha.
