this is where you hear the term "breathing from the diaphragm". when they say "resonate", they mean projecting your voice and breathing correctly in order to achieve it. what i was taught when i took voice for the actor for the first time, was that when you breathe, allow your stomach to inflate like a balloon, but without your chest moving at all. youre breathing "deeper down", not just filling your chest with air (this isnt anatomically correct, but thats what it looks like on the outside anyway, and its easier to understand if you just look for your belly inflating and your chest staying pretty still). it takes practice, but in time, breathing this way will become more natural, and your voice will be able to project more clearly, loudly and naturally. resonance can be explained in the example of shouting into a raveen- your voice echoes and bounces off the walls; resonance is also internally the same idea when youre talking about your voice

    Wow. Big Question.

It means not just relying on your vocal chords and throat for for speaking and volume.

Resonate means vibrating through something causing amplification, basically being louder. A guitar resonates through the hole in the body, vibrating the whole instrument and creating warmth and volume. Chest resonance comes from proper breathing and posture first, causing sound to not just come from your throat but vibrate through your whole "empty" chest cavity and have a more natural sound.

I can't tell you how to achieve chest resonance through the computer. You have to get on your feet with a coach for that.

First thing is to breathe through your diaphragm, basically your abdomen. When you breathe, your chest shouldn't move at all, not up and down at all. You basically use your belly to breath and fill your lungs from the bottom up and your shoulders should not move at all.

Are you in actors' training? Your professor/ teacher ought to help you out with that.

Big ol' question with about a year and a half of training for just that. Totally worth it.
