- There Life is threatened in there country.

- Better future for their family back home or for themselves.

These poor people don't know how hard the life is here for legal immigrants and residents. They see the life of west, through films and TV programmes which are nowhere near to the real world.

Because they wouldn't be able to make it legaly. If the UK immigration policy is anything like the US's then they screen immigrants for felonys. They are also required to take a test in which they must pass to make it into the country.

If the immigrants have any of the two things going against them, then the only chance they have of living in the nation is by getting there illegaly.

They are not coming over and living on the streets they are mostly economic immigrants. The government is forced to look after them if they get found out, National Health Service, shelter, food ect.
