Do colleges look at freshman and sophmore year? Is improvement noted?

Do colleges tend to weight all years equally, or do they see junior and senior year as more important? I had a mediocre freshman, have improved since, but am still hovering around a 3.4 GPA. How much is this going to affect me?

They look at everything but Junior year is most important and if you show improvement that is a really good sign. I had a 3.6 frosh year then like a 4.2 from then on and got nasty sat scores and got into Columbia. I think junior senior are most important but if your concerend then just study for the SAT's like crazy
